Dream Divers

Dream Divers is a well-established PADI dive center on Gili Trawangan that has made a name for itself with its popular Divemaster internship program, attracting aspiring dive professionals from around the world. But you do not need to be going pro to dive here — their recreational diving program is equally strong, with patient instructors and consistently well-organized trips. The Discover Scuba Diving experience (IDR 800,000) is a great taster, while the full Open Water course (IDR 5,500,000) is delivered over 3-4 days with comprehensive theory and four open water dives. The Divemaster internship is one of the most popular in Southeast Asia, taking 6-12 weeks and costing around IDR 15,000,000-20,000,000 depending on the package. Fun dives for certified divers run IDR 500,000 for two tanks. Dream Divers accesses all the major Gili dive sites and is particularly good at the deeper sites like Deep Halik and the Meno Wall. Their equipment room is well-organized with a wide range of sizes. Nitrox is available and they run regular specialty courses in wreck diving, deep diving, and peak performance buoyancy. The center is on the eastern side of the island near the main harbor. They have a relaxed bar area where divers hang out between dives, and the social aspect is a big part of the experience.
