A sweeping crescent of white sand that's become Lombok's most popular surf beach. The gentle, rolling waves are ideal for beginners — board rental is IDR 50,000-100,000/hour from the vendors lining the shore. The southern end has a small hill with sunset views. Several warungs serve cold Bintang and nasi goreng right on the sand. Gets crowded on weekends. The road from Kuta is scenic but winding.
