Pearl of Trawangan is Gili T's most contemporary luxury boutique hotel, offering a design-forward aesthetic that sets it apart from the island's predominantly rustic accommodation. The hotel features sleek, modern rooms with high-end finishes: polished concrete, local stone, designer lighting, and premium bedding. Each room has a balcony overlooking either the pool or the lush tropical garden. The standout feature is the rooftop bar — one of the highest points on Gili Trawangan — where you can sip crafted cocktails while taking in 360-degree views of the ocean, neighboring islands, and volcanic peaks on the horizon. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers with attentive poolside service. Rooms start at IDR 1,600,000 per night for a deluxe room, IDR 2,500,000 for a suite. The on-site restaurant serves a fusion menu that is a step above typical island fare. Breakfast is excellent and included in the rate. The hotel is on the eastern (harbor) side of the island, close to the main strip of restaurants and dive shops. The staff are polished and multilingual. Credit cards accepted. The hotel can arrange diving courses, snorkeling trips, and sunset sailing. Not suitable for families with small children — the vibe is deliberately grown-up and chic.
