Meno Mojo captures everything that makes Gili Meno special — simplicity, tranquility, and direct connection to one of Indonesia's most beautiful beaches. The property consists of simple but charming wooden bungalows set in a coconut grove directly on the beach. Each bungalow features a comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan or AC (depending on the category), a small porch with hammock, and an outdoor bathroom with cold water. It is not luxury in the five-star sense, but there is a luxuriousness to the simplicity: falling asleep to the sound of waves, waking up to turquoise water right outside your door, and spending your days with absolutely no agenda. The beachfront restaurant serves reliable Indonesian and Western food — the grilled fish is always a safe bet. Cold beer and fresh juices are available all day. Rooms start at IDR 350,000 for a fan bungalow, IDR 550,000 for AC. The snorkeling right in front of the property is excellent — sea turtles are regular visitors. The famous underwater NEST statues are a short swim or snorkel trip away. WiFi exists but barely functions — which, on Gili Meno, feels like a feature rather than a bug. The owners are friendly and can arrange snorkeling gear, boat transfers, and island tours. Cash only.
