Sasak Restaurant on the ground floor runs proper traditional Sasak cuisine — this is unusual for a city hotel and worth ordering for the ayam taliwang and beberuk terong. The top-floor Asian fusion outlet runs lunch through dinner with Japanese, Chinese, and modern Indonesian dishes.

The convention facility is the largest in Mataram with eight meeting rooms and an 800-person ballroom. Most weeks the property hosts at least one corporate event, which means the lobby and elevators are busy at peak hours; tourists looking for resort calm should be aware.

The honest constraints. The building exterior and some public spaces look dated despite room refurbishments — the lobby and elevators retain a 1990s convention-hotel aesthetic that more recently-built competitors avoid. Mataram itself has limited tourist appeal compared to Senggigi or Kuta — most foreign tourists will struggle to fill 2+ days here. Traffic in central Mataram is consistently bad and city drives take double the time you'd expect off-peak.
