Square is one of Senggigi's more upscale dining options, offering a sophisticated beachfront setting with attentive service and a menu that spans Asian and international cuisine. The restaurant occupies a prime position right on the beach, with tables set in the sand for the ultimate sunset dining experience. The seafood platter for two is the signature dish — a generous spread of grilled prawns, snapper, squid, and crab with multiple dipping sauces, served on a wooden board. The Thai green curry is another standout, and the wine list is surprisingly decent for Lombok. Prices are at the higher end for Senggigi: starters IDR 45,000-80,000, mains IDR 85,000-180,000. The cocktails are well-made and the bartender can improvise if you tell them what flavors you enjoy. The atmosphere transitions beautifully from relaxed afternoon beach vibes to romantic candlelit dinner. Live acoustic music plays on Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations are recommended for sunset tables, especially on weekends and during peak season (July-August, December). The service is professional and multilingual. They accept credit cards, which is not universal in Senggigi. Dress code is smart casual for dinner.
